You tapped Morning sweep on the Plays tab, Otto said he was waiting for you to approve something called booked_search, and no window ever appeared. You restarted the app, twice, and it happened again. You were being asked to approve something that does not exist.
There is no permission pop-up in this app
The app has no approval window anywhere, so there was never a window hiding behind another one and no setting that would have revealed it. Nothing you clicked could have helped.
What was actually happening
At some point the terminal door setup ran on your computer. You will find it under Settings > Advanced > The terminal door, and it installs a small Booked add-on for Claude so you can work from a terminal as well as from the app.
What we missed is that the same add-on also loads inside the app's own sessions, where its tools are deliberately switched off. So when you tapped Morning sweep, Otto reached for the terminal route first, got a refusal, and read that refusal as something you had to approve. Then he invented a reason for you. Your Booking HQ connection was never dropping either, whatever the message said about it.
The fix, and what you need to do
It is fixed in two places. The app's own sessions can no longer reach that add-on, so there is nothing left to approve. And Otto is now told plainly that the app has no approval window, so a blocked tool gets reported as what it is instead of turned into a request you cannot act on.
- Take the update when the app offers it. The app installs it itself.
- Run Morning sweep again. It goes straight through.
There is nothing to reinstall and nothing to switch off. Until the update lands, the sweep can still stop the same way, and there is still nothing to click.
Good to know
Your own terminal sessions are untouched. The add-on keeps working exactly where it belongs, which is in a terminal where a person is there to answer a permission question. Only the app's background sessions stop reaching for it.
