Can I book for another entertainer as well as myself? What works today, and where the edges are

You have the chance to book gigs for another entertainer on top of your own act. Booked Solid can carry that, with one honest caveat: it thinks in brands, not in a roster of people. Here is what that means in practice.

The setup that works: treat their act as a second brand

If you are the one doing the booking, the emails go out under your operation, and you hold the relationship with the buyer, then the other entertainer is simply a second brand inside your account, the same way one owner runs a magic act and a band side by side.

1. Open the Connections tab and find the Mail & calendars section. Under Email accounts, add the inbox that speaks for their act: Microsoft 365 / Outlook, Gmail, or Another email. Add as many as you use, and say what each is for.
2. Click Add a calendar and connect a calendar for their dates, so Otto can see their schedule next to yours.
3. Give each act its own section in your offers file, brain/offers.md, with its own packages and prices under its own heading. Otto never invents a price, so the section is what keeps their quotes separate from yours.
4. Tell Otto which address speaks for which act in brain/senders.md. When one inbox serves several brands, this mapping is what picks the right signature and sender. There is no settings screen for this file yet: ask Otto to set it up, or edit it by hand.

With more than one inbox connected, Otto must name the account before it reads or drafts, and when it cannot tell which brand should answer, it stops and asks rather than sending from the wrong name.

The edges to know before you commit

• Gigs carry no act label. The Gig Desk has no field that marks a gig as theirs versus yours. The working convention: put the act's name in the gig title or the Source detail field, then use search to filter.
• No cross-check between two bookings calendars. The clash warning fires between your bookings calendar and other-purpose calendars, not between two calendars both marked bookings. Two different people cannot double-book each other anyway, so this mostly does not hurt, but do not expect the app to police their dates against yours.
• Full separation means a second Booking HQ. If their gigs must live completely apart, keep them in their own Booking HQ folder and swap via Settings, Your Booking HQ, Change. Only one is open at a time, and switching resets the chat and task list.
