Booked Solid showed a strange message that says json verdicts i 0 same false: what it is, and did something break?

Modified on Sun, 25 Oct at 7:34 AM

If Booked Solid showed you a line like {"verdicts":[{"i":0,"same":false}]}, nothing broke. It is the answer to a small background check the app runs on its own. It was never meant for you to read, and it does not change your leads or notes.

What the message means

Booked Solid reads your booking notes to know what each lead is still waiting on. Sometimes a note says you are waiting on something, like waiting on the payment, and a later line might be the answer but uses different words, like the money came through. When the app cannot tell from the words alone, it asks your own Claude a yes or no question in the background: is the later sentence about the same thing?

Claude has to answer in exactly that shape:

  • i 0 is the case number. 0 is the first pair in that check.
  • same false means Claude decided the later sentence is not about the same thing, or was not sure. An unsure answer is always false.

Did it change anything?

No. The answer is saved in a small file inside the _index folder of your BookingHQ, and your lead files and notes are never edited. A false answer keeps the item showing as still open, which is the safe direction. A check that fails changes nothing at all.

Why you could see it

The check runs as its own short Claude conversation inside your BookingHQ folder, with a small, fast model and no tools. Claude saves every conversation there, and Chat history in the sidebar lists the most recent ones without skipping these background checks. So one can show up in Chat history, or under Recent in Chat on your phone, with a name that starts You are checking booking-log sentences. Opening it shows Claude's raw answer.

What to do meanwhile

  • Nothing needs fixing. You can leave the conversation alone. Opening it or ignoring it changes nothing.
  • Start your real work in a new chat rather than replying inside that one.
  • If it keeps catching your eye, right-click it in Chat history, choose Rename, and give it a name like Background check.
  • Expect a few of these, not a flood. Once a pair has an answer it is kept, so new checks come from new or changed notes.

Is a fix coming?

Keeping these checks out of sight needs an app update, and that update is not out yet. We will not put a date on it. Until then, the steps above are all you need, and your work is not affected.
