My old Green Room link goes to the sales site: where the Green Room is now, and what happened to the old prompts

Modified on Tue, 4 Aug at 4:34 PM

You clicked a Green Room link you have used before, and instead of the members area you landed on a page trying to sell you Booked Solid. One owner put it exactly like this: I had access to the green room. I am running pearl. I need the prompt to connect my Mago crm. It was in the green room but now I'm redirected to your sales site for booked solid. If that is you, nothing has been taken away. The link is old, the room moved, and this article is the map back in, plus an honest account of what happened to the old prompt pages.

Why the old link sends you to the sales site

The Green Room you remember was Chris Michael's members area, from before Booked Solid moved over to Kivi Media. It retired at the handover. Old bookmarks, old course links and links inside old emails all point at that retired room, so they now land you on booked.kivimedia.co, which is the public sales page. That is the whole reason the green room link doesn't work, and why the page you hit is pitching something you already own.

Read it as a redirect, not a revocation. If your first thought was I lost access to the members area, you did not lose it. Your purchase, your license and everything you have built are untouched, and there is no penalty, no lapse and nothing to buy again. The plain answer to where did the green room go is that it was rebuilt at a new address, with a different way of signing in.

Where the Green Room is now, and how to get in

The owners hub lives at booked.kivimedia.co/green-room.

One dead end first, because most people burn ten minutes on it. There is no password on this room and no account to create, so there is no forgot-password link to find and no old password of yours that will work. Skip that hunt entirely. Sign-in is a code emailed to the address on your receipt, and that is the only way in.

  1. Open booked.kivimedia.co/green-room.
  2. Type the email address you purchased with. It has to be the exact address on your Booked Solid receipt, not a forwarding address and not the one you read mail in.
  3. Press Email me a sign-in code.
  4. Open the email, and type the 6-digit code into the box on the page.

Three details that decide whether this goes smoothly. A code lives 15 minutes. Asking for a fresh one cancels every earlier code for your address, so if two code emails are sitting in your inbox, only the newest one will work, and Gmail loves to thread them so the old one is the one you see first. And a correct code unlocks the room for 30 days on that device and that browser, so a new computer, a different browser or cleared cookies means a new code.

Who gets in: the room is for owners, and your purchase email is the door. A code is only ever sent to an address on our purchase records, and unlocking the room needs a current Booked Solid subscription or a lifetime license on that address. If the page answers An active Booked subscription or lifetime license is required, more attempts will not change it. Open a ticket with the email you bought with and we will look at the record.

If all you actually came for is your license key, you do not have to sign in at all. On that same page, type the email you bought with and choose email me my license key. It is sent to that inbox only and never shown on screen. The companion article Your license key and the Green Room covers that route in full.

What is inside the Green Room now

  • Your license key, revealed once on screen. The moment you reveal it, a backup copy is emailed to you, so it cannot be lost.
  • Get set up in three small steps, with the download link, the key, and the Setup step where you tap Build my brain. Under it sits Read exactly what will happen on your first night, an honest walkthrough of the app's first real piece of work for you.
  • Owner guides. Today these are Your first hour: the Claude account, Otto: one shot, your entire booking year, The Lead Engine, Bring GoHighLevel into Booked Solid and Bring your Mago into Booked Solid.
  • The Brain Extraction deep-dive, a download for owners of the original pre-app edition. Desktop app owners can skip it: Setup and Build my brain does the same job in one tap.
  • Quick links to the app download, support and the affiliate program.

The guide list depends on which edition you bought. The DJ and AV edition shows its own versions of the Otto, Lead Engine and GoHighLevel guides, and does not include the Mago one. The balloon decorator edition shows only Your first hour: the Claude account. If a guide named above is not in your room, that is the reason, and it is not a fault.

If your room does not look like this article

What the room shows depends on the edition on your purchase. The DJ and AV edition and the balloon decorator edition each show their own terminal adapter download in place of the Brain Extraction file, along with the shorter guide list above. If the license card cannot reach our records it says so plainly and offers a Try again button, and your license is safe while that happens. If something you expect is genuinely missing, open a ticket with the email you bought with and we will check the actual record rather than guess at it.

The old prompts: what moved, and what genuinely changed

This is the part that brings people to us, usually phrased as the prompts are gone. Here is the accurate version, because we have given a wrong answer on this before.

The owner guides did move across. In particular, the Mago page you are remembering, Bring your Mago into Booked Solid, is alive and sitting in the Owner guides section of the new Green Room. If anyone told you that page did not survive the move, that was wrong, and you can stop hunting for a copy of it.

What did change is the route it describes, and this is why the old copy-paste prompt feels missing:

  • On the desktop app, Mago is no longer a prompt at all. It is a built-in connection. Open Connections, find the Mago CRM card, and enter your own mago.co email and password. They are encrypted in your computer's local vault and traded directly with Mago for a temporary token, so nothing is ever pasted into a chat or a terminal. Then you speak plainly: bring in my Mago history for the full pull, or check Mago for my recent leads for a quick look.
  • In the terminal edition, meaning Booked Solid running inside your own Claude the way it worked before the desktop app, there is no built-in connection, and the download-and-import route is still the right answer. You download your Gig, Lead, Contact and Company exports from mago.co, put them where Booked Solid can read them, and hand it one import instruction. The full instruction is printed word for word, with nothing behind a sign-in, in the help center article Bring your Mago CRM in: the desktop connection, and the CSV route for terminal and Pearl. Search this help center for Mago to find it.

Hunting for a different old page? Open a ticket and name the page title as you remember it, and we will tell you where that material lives now or what replaced it. Do not spend an evening reconstructing a prompt from memory.

Answer this first: the desktop app, or the terminal with Claude?

Support has to ask this every single time, because the answer changes the route completely. It is not about which plan is on your receipt. It is this: are you opening the Booked Solid desktop app on your Mac or Windows machine, or are you running Booked Solid inside your own Claude, in the terminal, the way it worked before the desktop app existed? Both are supported, and the terminal route keeps working exactly as it always has.

A word on plan names, because I am running pearl on its own does not settle it. Pearl is also the name of one of the two desktop app plans: Pearl and Otto are the same app, and Otto is the one that adds the unattended, scheduled layer on top. Pearl vs Otto: what each plan can do sets out the difference. So tell us how you are running Booked Solid today, not only what you bought.

If you download the desktop app and it opens on First time here? Enter your license key, asking for a key like BS-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX that you were never sent: the app asks that of every fresh install, so it is not a sign that anything was revoked. Some purchases made through the previous checkout did not have a key generated at the time, which is our gap and not yours. Try the self-serve route first: on the Green Room page, type the email you bought with and choose email me my license key. If nothing arrives, open a ticket with the email you bought with and which edition you purchased. We would rather read your actual record back to you than guess in public.

The other old link: chrismichael.site

The same batch of old bookmarks often includes a chrismichael.site license link. Those now show a page reading Booked Solid is now part of Kivi Media and nothing else. That is the previous vendor's redirect, it is expected, and you do not need that link for anything.

Your existing app username and password still work. Nothing about your sign-in was reset by the handover. If sign-in is misbehaving, read Bought from the original Booked Solid vendor? Your old login still works, which covers legacy accounts and password resets.

If the sign-in code never arrives

  1. Check spam and promotions for a message from Booked Solid. It is the usual cause.
  2. Confirm the address. The page tells you a code is on its way whether or not it recognises the address, because we never confirm out loud whether an email belongs to an owner. So "the page said it sent one" is not proof one was sent. If you typed an address that is not on your purchase, no email will ever arrive, no matter how many times you press the button.
  3. Give it a minute. We send at most one code per minute per address, so pressing the button repeatedly does not speed anything up.
  4. Getting That code did not match or has expired? Tap Send a fresh code and use the code from the newest email, not the one further up the thread.
  5. Too many wrong tries on one code locks that code. Request a new one and the count starts over.

If it still does not work

Open a ticket at support.booked.kivimedia.co or email bookedsolid@kivimedia.freshdesk.com. Tell us three things and we can usually finish it in one reply: the email you bought with, how you run it (the desktop app, or the terminal with Claude), and the title of the old Green Room page you are trying to get back to. A person reads it.
