Upgrading to Otto takes a few minutes: open the upgrade page, check out through Stripe, and the unattended features - Autopilot, scheduled runs, the Booth, and hands-off EPIN sends - unlock in your app. This article walks you through the whole thing.
Where the upgrade lives
The upgrade page is at https://booked.kivimedia.co/upgrade. You can type that address into your browser, or press any of the upgrade buttons inside the app - they all land on the same page:
- Upgrade to Otto on the Booth card (Settings > General)
- Upgrade to Autopilot in the prompt that appears when you try to turn Autopilot on from a Pearl account
- Upgrade to schedule on the "Set up the Autopilot schedule" recipe in the Plays tab
What you get with Otto
The upgrade page lays out the Otto pitch in plain words: unattended scheduling, the morning sweep, silence patrol, the weekly harvest, opt-in auto-send, and the Booth for approving decisions from your phone. It is the difference between running your booking operation by hand and having it run for you.
How to upgrade
- Open https://booked.kivimedia.co/upgrade, or press any Upgrade button inside the app.
- Click Get Booked Solid OS. This opens a Stripe checkout at $100/mo.
- Complete the checkout. Your license email follows - see the article "Buying Booked Solid OS: checkout, your license email, and activation" for what that email looks like and how activation works.
- Back in the app, your tier is picked up when you sign in - the app revalidates your license with the server, and the Otto badge appears in the top bar next to the Booked Solid credit once your account carries the Otto tier.
Prefer the lighter option
The upgrade page also links to KM Hub at $50/mo, which signs up at hub.kivimedia.co/signup. If you are weighing the two, the article "Booked Solid OS vs KM Hub: which one is for you" breaks down the choice.
Questions before you buy
The upgrade page includes a direct email link: booked@kivimedia.co. Write in with anything you want to know before checking out - pricing, what Otto does, or whether the plan fits your act.
How to confirm the upgrade worked
Two quick checks inside the app:
- The Otto tier badge shows in the top bar.
- The gated buttons change: the Booth card's Upgrade to Otto becomes a working on/off setup, and the Plays tab's Upgrade to schedule becomes a regular "Do it for me" recipe.
