Make it yours: themes, your own colors, and language

You can restyle the entire app to match your taste and set the language Otto speaks to you, all from the Appearance and language controls in Settings > General.

Pick a theme

Scroll to the Appearance section. You will see a row of theme cards - each card is a ready-made look for the whole app. Click a card and the app re-themes immediately, so you can try a few and keep the one you like.

Use your own colors

If none of the ready-made themes feels right, the Your own color option gives you two color pickers:

  • Main color: the primary color the app is painted in.
  • Alert color: the color used for things that need your attention.

Pick both and the whole app re-themes around your choices. This is a nice touch if you want Booked Solid to match your act's brand colors while you work.

Set your language

The language select controls the language Otto uses with you. The default, Match how you write to me, means Otto simply mirrors whatever language you type in - write in Spanish, get Spanish back. If you prefer a fixed language, pick one of the supported languages from the same select and Otto sticks to it.

One thing that never changes

Whatever theme or custom colors you choose, the Booked Solid by Chris Michael credit in the top bar stays exactly as it is. It is locked by design and does not restyle, move, or disappear with theming.

Quick recap

  1. Open Settings > General and scroll to Appearance.
  2. Click a theme card, or choose Your own color and set the main and alert colors.
  3. Set the language select to Match how you write to me or a specific supported language.

Everything applies on the spot - there is nothing to restart and no way to get stuck, since you can always click a different theme card to go back.
