Bought from the original Booked Solid vendor? Your old login still works

If you bought Booked Solid before it moved to the new account service, good news: you do not need a new license, a new code, or a new password. This article explains what happens to your old account and what to do in the rare case sign-in acts up.

Your existing username and password just work

Open the app and use the Sign in view with the same username and password you have always used. The account service recognizes legacy accounts automatically. When it does not find your account in the new system, it checks with the original vendor's service behind the scenes and lets you in exactly as before. There is nothing for you to set up, re-enter, or activate.

Your first sign-in also moves you over

The first time you sign in successfully, your account is copied into the new Booked Solid account system. From that point on, sign-in resolves directly in the new service, so nothing about your account depends on the old vendor anymore. You will not notice anything during this - it happens quietly as part of that one sign-in.

Good to know: password resets before you migrate

  • If you forget your password before your account has migrated, the reset request is handled by the original vendor's service. The reset email may look different from Booked Solid's usual emails - that is expected.
  • Once your account has migrated (after any successful sign-in), resets go through the new flow: enter your username on the Reset your password view and a 6-digit code is emailed to the address on your account.

If sign-in says the service is unreachable

Occasionally a sign-in attempt can fail with a message that Booked Solid could not be reached. That is a connection hiccup, not a problem with your account. Wait a moment and try again.

If you were already signed in on that computer, you do not even need to rush: the app keeps working for up to 14 days offline, and it quietly reconfirms your account on its own once a connection is available. A temporary outage never signs you out.
